A website's reputation and its technical reality are two different things.
This dataset separates them. Every figure below comes straight from Google's
public APIs and from reading the source code itself — no opinions, no
sponsorships, no hidden scoring.
The Worldwide Web Development & Carbon Footprint Benchmark collects into a single CSV file the objective measurements of all websites analysed: PageSpeed scores, Core Web Vitals, CO₂ emissions per visit, and AI Readiness (Schema.org, Knowledge Graph). Every row is a real site with real numbers — no opinions, no sponsorships.

One row per website (latest valid test), with columns: domain, category, performance_score, co2_g, kg_global_score, fcp, lcp, schema_status, ...

🧹 Cleaning
For each domain only the latest valid test is published. Failed scans (empty or blocked page, 0 MB weight) are excluded. Extreme but real values (> 20 MB) are kept and marked in the flag column. n_tests shows how many times the site was tested.
⚠️ Method & limitations
Google PageSpeed (Lighthouse) lab measurements, single run, almost all in mobile mode. The sample is made of the sites analysed by users of the tool: it is not a random statistical sample. Each domain has a single category. Dates are server time at test execution. For comparisons use the median, which is more robust than the mean. The complete test history is available in the raw log.
